I think you hit every conceivable thought process a Ravens fan (me) or other ones in hypothetical scenarios. I am grappling with the Justin Tucker accusations and I seem to be firmly in the he's guilty stage. Too many women with the same story for it to be not true. He was one of my favorite players. I went though journeys like this as my fandom grew into a full-time job. I landed on something close to "There is no ethical consumption under capitalism." There's a sliding scale in my brain about the severity of the crime/allegations and the fame/profile/audacity of the player, but I am also stuck with the fact that I have to write semi-objectively about these guys no matter what they did. One thing I would not advise anyone to do is stop rooting for a team based on one player, unless that's what your heart tells you to do. It doesn't help any particular cause to be bored and miserable on Sunday afternoons.
